Avner sends new items to Chandler from his phone

How are you making using of Chandler’s IMAP folders?
…I just figured out a pretty good way to add things to Chandler on the move. I can send texts to e-mail addresses, so I set up a filter to put emails from my cell phone in the proper IMAP folder. It works pretty well for me…

Great idea! I had forgotten I also can text to email addresses. On many IMAP systems, it is also possible to send email directly to IMAP folders, for example, accountname+foldername@provider.domain. When you send email to your Chandler Events folder, when Chandler imports the email it will (do its best to) parse the title of the item to create the event date and time. So I’ve now added three folder-referencing email addresses to my contacts list on my mobile phone. Thanks Avner!
