Scooby do what?

So what exactly is the architectural concept for Scooby?

    Very briefly, Scooby will be a Java/J2EE web application that uses CalDAV to view and edit calendars and events on a calendar server. This includes calendars created and/or shared by Chandler, iCal, Sunbird and other CalDAV clients, and even Scooby itself. The user interface will have desktop-like interactivity and performance.

    Someday we think Scooby will expand to cover all standard PIM content like tasks, contacts, and email messages. Its content repository, like Chandlers, has a generic content model that allows any type of data to be stored and queried.
