Sample podcast

April 27th, 2005 at 2:13 pm (3 years, 2 months ago) by Pieter Hartsook under OSAF

This supposedly works if I just link to an audio file somewhere using an absolute URI. Then I need to include a link to the rss feed generator like this: wp.osafoundation.org/wp-rss2.php Then it’s supposed to work!

.mp3 file: Groucho clips

An rss feed of all OSAF Blog podcasts should be available at: http://wp.osafoundation.org/wp-rss2.php?category_name=podcasts

Actually you only need to append “/feed” to the category name, ala: http://wp.osafoundation.org/category/podcasts/feed/

Oops, I left a dangling a href in that last comment. I’m surprised I was allowed to do that. Anyway, the url for the podcast category rss feed is:

    http://wp.osafoundation.org/category/podcasts/feed/

the current state of settings seems to require anglebrackets around a URL to turn it into a link no matter where in the text, e.g. http://www.osafoundation.org, it appears.

see what happens when you don’t use anglebrackets

Well I stand corrected I guess you should just be able to leave a URL lying about and the Markdown plugin seems to NOT require anglebrackets around a URL to turn it into a link no matter where in the text, e.g. http://www.osafoundation.org, it appears.
