IRC Chat Session Scheduled for Thurs. 6/5 at 2PM PDT

June 4th, 2003 at 6:56 pm (4 years, 11 months ago) by OSAF under Chandler Desktop Development, Community, OSAF, Public Events

Mitchell Baker our open source community coordinator and the OSAF developers will be on-line to discuss the latest Chandler Status Update. The session starts Thursday at 2 PM Pacific time. Come on and join in!

Our online discussions are held using IRC (Intenet Relay Chat). To join, you’ll need an IRC client. You can find a range of IRC clients at the irchelp.org website, along with information about IRC. If you use the Mozilla Application Suite, you have an IRC client already; go to the “Window” menu item and select “IRC Chat.”

Whatever client you use, type /attach irc.osafoundation.org in the text input field to connect to OSAF’s IRC server. Once you are there, type /join #chandler

OSAF website updated

June 4th, 2003 at 2:22 pm (4 years, 11 months ago) by OSAF under OSAF

We have updated the OSAF website, reorganizing it a bit to try to make it simpler to navigate and find the information you’re looking for. The biggest change is the addition of the Announcements page, an RSS aggregation page that points to the latest information from a variety of OSAF-related sources (OSAF website, Chandler Wiki, and Mitch Kapor’s weblog).

We have included links to the RSS feed pages for each of these so that you can use your own RSS reader if you wish.
